Evidence-based approaches to promoting memory health and treating memory disorders

In this course, you will use learning materials and complete learning tasks that help you progress in studying the key areas of brain and memory health. You will explore the promotion of memory health and the factors that influence it, as well as learn to distinguish between memory disorders and memory diseases. You will see how memory diseases manifest differently across age groups and how behavioral symptoms form part of the overall picture.
You will deepen your understanding of evidence-based care for memory diseases, including both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. You will also learn the principles of good palliative symptom management in the care of a person with a memory disease. The materials guide you in acquiring and utilizing evidence-based knowledge in memory-related work.
