Managing Work Wellbeing

The course covers a wide range of different areas of well-being at work.The course focuses on current phenomena in well-being at work and the importance of strategic management in promoting well-being at work. The students learn about different models of well-being at work and the importance of the quality of working life, work ability and coping at work. The course also discusses the mapping and development of well-being at work, the role of occupational health care in health promotion, and the importance of cooperation. Regulations guiding well-being at work and occupational safety and health, the activities of the occupational safety and health organization and occupational safety and health action programmes are also key topics. In addition, students learn about the principles of occupational safety, occupational safety and risk management, as well as the utilisation of digital applications for occupational well-being and safety. The course covers various tools that are central to the assessment and development of well-being at work. Students will become familiar with methods that can be used to assess and improve well-being at work and learn about occupational safety and risk management assessment methods. In addition, the course familiarizes students with digital collaboration applications.
