On successfully completing this course, students will:

• Understand learning as practice and interaction between individuals, workplace communities and organisations.
• Have the skills to develop workplace communities that support learning and develop networks that support work and learning for lone workers
• Have the skills to plan and implement practices that support continuing learning in workplaces and networked work
• Understand the connections between learning and professional identity and agency
• Understand concepts and practices around skills recognition
• Understand and be able to apply development approaches to support learning in the workplace.
