Finnish in Finnish for advanced learners

Students:

• master the vocabulary of their own field both in written and spoken language
• are able to use Finnish in professional situations
• are able to communicate clearly in Finnish, in both writing and speaking, in multiprofessional work communities
• manage challenging interview and instruction situations in Finnish,
• have sufficient skills needed for applying for jobs and are able to describe their work environments and tasks in Finnish,
• are able to retrieve information and to apply it in professional contexts
• understand the difference between formal and informal language and are able to use them appropriately

Prior to signing up for the course, degree students are encouraged to contact their student counsellors to discuss in what way the course can be recognised as part of their compulsory or optional studies.
