Leadership

Leadership is considered crucial for organizational performance and development, and for organizational health. What does research say about this, what does it know about this? We will try to distinguish "hard facts", from half-truths and utter non-sense, and glimpse behind the scenes of leadership rhetoric and leadership BS. The overall aim of this course is to help and inspire students to mutually and critically reflect on and enhance their understanding and appreciation of what is considered "good" leadership behaviors, strategic leadership, strategy as organization and the role of context in leadership.

This is an advanced level course and it is expected that participating students have basic knowledge about Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour. Some knowledge of Strategy is also advantegous.
