Business Ethics

5 cr

Face-to-face
Advanced studies

The course introduces various approaches to business ethics, including a pragmatist approach. It connects business ethics to popular concepts, such as corporate social responsibility and stakeholder management, and more broadly addresses the relationship between business and society. One basic argument in the course is that managerial decision making and corporate practices have a moral dimension that cannot be separated from economic rationales. Course topics include: classical normative ethical theories, meta-ethical theories, emergence of moral issues, and pragmatist ethical theory.

The course can be taken as part of the Study Module in Corporate Responsibility(Opens in a new tab) .
