ICT Project Management

Mandatory requirements:

1. Introduction to Business Driven ICT (ICB001IT1AE) and
2. Teamwork and Project Management (HRL001HH1AE)
   courses are completed

Highly recommended prerequisites: Student has done the work placement and has basic knowledge and/or experience of project work and the development process of business information systems.

Note that the Project Management course offers a launch pad for other courses which are structured by means of project working. Moreover, participation on the Project Management Championship goes effortlessly that is studified in terms of 3 credits course (ICB012AS2AE).

After completing the course, the student:

• Recognizes the key characteristics of the ICT operating environment from the perspective of project management
• Understands the core competence areas related to successful project leadership and is able to independently acquire and apply relevant knowledge
• Knows the methods, tools, and best practices of project management and project control, and is able to apply them in leading projects
• Is able to utilize their project management and project control skills critically, yet creatively and practically, in future projects
• Is familiar with the fundamentals of project management framework models
