Target group
If the course is given more than once during the academic year, some of the options can be limited to only students of Bachelor's Programme in Social Science. In such cases, the target groups will be determined in the annual teaching programme.
1. Bachelor’s Programme in Social Research, Social and Public Policy
2. Master's Programme in Contemporary Societies (Social and Public Policy)
Timing
First period. The timing of other possible options will be determined in the teaching programme.
For degree students in the Bachelor’s Programme in Social Research, the recommended time of completion is the third year of studies.
Implementation
Course completion methods: Attendance in teaching.
- The course uses short videos and material that must be studied before each class.
- The interactive class meetings are organised to discussed the material.
- The course ends with a written individual assignment

- Active participation in classroom
- Deliverables for the meetings
- Final assignment.
Activities and methods in support of learning
- Student-driven learning and multiple teaching methods.
Language of learning
The course is taught in English. Assignment may be completed in Finnish or Swedish.
