This course addresses the most relevant trends in sustainable investment and financing, drawing on both academic research and practitioner literature covering:

  • definitions, regulatory landscape of sustainable financing.
  • typology of ESG strategies and investing styles.
  • ESG proxies (including SDG-values, impact, risk and return).
  • sustainability drivers related to the operating environment, regulation, transparency and market infrastructure.
  • main sustainable finance tools (green, social, sustainability (linked) bonds and sustainability-linked derivatives).
