Support for Learning and Well-being

After completing the course, students will be able to

• Understand the duties and responsibilities involved in supporting learners as well as the inclusive principles for providing support
• Identify various manifestations of learning difficulties in educational and school contexts
• Choose and target pedagogical support solutions on the basis of research
• Examine critically and prevent bullying and discriminating practices
• Understand the significance of collaboration for promoting learning and mental well-being and participate in multiprofessional cooperation

Completion methods

Participation in teaching. Lectures and/or lecture recordings and interactive group/individual assignments.

Assessment practices and criteria 

An applied final project or applied assignments whose method of completion (e.g., groupwork) is defined by the lecturer at the beginning of the course.

Lectures and interactive discussions with instructions provided.

Target groups 

The course is compulsory for students completing pedagogical studies for teachers (60 cr). To complete the course, students must hold a valid study right to complete pedagogical studies for teachers.
