The course describes the legal foundation of official control. The focus is on the presentation of the character and content of the Criminal Code and other norms regulating control (child protection, control of educational institutions, private security companies). The course also covers the legislation related to the Police Act, the Criminal Investigation Act, the Coercive Measures Act and other laws regulating the implementation of criminal sanctions. The main focus of the course is in the description of valid legislation from the perspective of law as a discipline.
