Good knowledge of the topics presented in the course BSCS10001 Introduction to Programming

Course introduces the concepts of object-oriented programming, functional programming and a deeper knowledge of Python as a programming language.

After the course

1. you understand the principles and techniques of object-oriented programming,

2. you can utilize classes and objects in designing and implementing your own programs and

3. you can utilize functional programming to write shorter, clearer and more effective programs.

The course is suitable to those interested in programming who have studied the contents of Introduction to Programming.

• Compulsory for the whole programme: Bachelor's programme in Science
• BSCS1000 for the students in Computer and Data Science study track, BS1000 for the others
• The course is available to students from other degree programmes
• The course may be offered among the university’s continuous learning courses.
