Social Pedagogical Competence and a Sustainable Operating Culture in Early Childhood Education and Care

This course is part of the Inclusion and Support of Children and Families in Early Childhood Education and Care module. After completing this course, you will be able to apply the knowledge base of social pedagogy and act accordingly as part of a multiprofessional team in early childhood education and care. You will know how to work in cooperation and participation with families and identify the diverse everyday situations and support needs of families. You will know how to promote cultural diversity in early childhood education and care. You will understand the importance of eco-social education as part of children’s education and be able to apply the principles of a sustainable lifestyle in practice.
