Specialist Communications

This course is part of the Research and Development in the Social Sector module.
After completing this course, you will be able to identify and justify your research and work community communications competence as part of the professional competence of a Bachelor of Social Services. You will know how to critically analyse, use and refer to scientific and other publications appropriately. You will be able to report on a research or development project and summarise and present its key points visually. You will know how to communicate interactively and responsibly as a member of the work community, both as part of a team and as a supervisor. You will learn to recognise the prerequisites for different communication situations, such as meetings and negotiations, and you will know how to prepare for and act in these situations.
