Operations and Service Management

The course familiarizes students to operations management in both manufacturing and service environments. The perspective varies between and individual organization and a supply chain. In addition to operational and logistical capabilities, the course will cover cross-functional collaboration and the impact of operations and sourcing on profits.

After completing the course, a student will understand different levels and forms of operations management. They will master core models of capacity and inventory management and are able to apply those in practice. They will understand the impact of operational environment on selected methods and principles.
