Room and Building Acoustics D

Recommended prerequisites: Basic skills in matlab or python; good skills in acoustical measurements, for example course ELEC-E5670 Acoustical Measurements

The student understands basics of room and building acoustics. The student would learn some modeling techniques to predict room acoustics and sound insulation of building elements. After the course, the student would have skills to design room acoustics for most common rooms (offices, classrooms, auditorium) and design sound insulation for buildings. Moreover, the student can interpret the results and understands the uncertainties of different designs.
