Health Care path studies offer an alternative route to a degree. The studies provide a strong foundation for nursing, for example in anatomy, pharmacotherapy, and clinical skills.

Additional information
Studying requires active participation in contact teaching, adequate study skills, and sufficient language proficiency. The student is expected to work independently and to take responsibility for their own studies. The number and timing of contact teaching days vary between study units. Contact teaching is generally scheduled between Monday and Friday, 08.00–20.00. Teaching may also take place at other times.
Students on the paramedic, nursing, and public health nursing pathways all study in the group TERVEYSAV26S and complete the same study units. Admission as a degree student requires good academic performance.
