The nursing path studies offer an alternative route to a degree. The studies provide a strong foundation for nursing, for example in anatomy, pharmacotherapy and clinical skills.

Studying requires active participation in contact teaching, adequate study skills, and sufficient language proficiency.
The student is expected to be self-directed and to take responsibility for their own studies. The number and timing of contact teaching days vary between study units. Contact teaching is generally scheduled between Monday and Friday from 08.00 to 20.00. Teaching may also take place at other times.
Students on the emergency care, nursing, and public health nursing pathways all study in the group TERVEYSAV26S and complete the same study units. Admission as a degree student requires strong academic performance.
