Osteopatian (Bachelor) path, blended 60 cr

Osteopathy pathway studies include the compulsory first-year studies of the Degree Programme in Osteopathy, 60 credits.
The studies are completed as blended learning together with degree students over the course of one year, including contact teaching on campus, online studies and independent study. Compulsory teaching sessions are organised Monday to Friday between 8.30 and 16.00. Pathway studies and their compulsory sessions begin once a year in August.
Please note: the first six applicants to the pathway will be invited separately to the selection procedure on 10 August at 10 am in room MPD1002 (Myllypuro Hall), Myllypurontie 1, 00940 Helsinki.
The language of instruction is primarily Finnish. Finnish- and English-language materials are used in the study units. Lectures in English are also included as part of the teaching.
Successful completion of the studies requires Finnish-language skills at a minimum of level B2 of the Common European Framework.

Promoting Spinal Health in Osteopathy 5 credits
Once you have completed 50 credits of pathway studies, you may apply to become a degree student in Osteopathy through the separate application route “Application on the Basis of Open UAS Studies at Metropolia”.
If you are admitted as a degree student, the pathway studies will be recognised as part of your degree studies, and you will continue directly with the studies of the second academic year.
