Automotive Electrics (Bachelor) path, daytime studies, 60 cr

Automotive Electrics path studies cover the first-year courses (60 ECTS) of the Automotive Electrics Bachelor's Degree Programme. As a path student, you will study alongside degree students and complete the same courses. Please note that students are admitted in the order in which they register (on a first-come, first-served basis).
Why path studies?
A successful completion of path studies (60 ECTS) gives a right to apply to Automotive Electrics Degree Programme in separate admissions. Please note that completing the path studies does not automatically guarantee admission to the degree programme.

Path studies include contact teaching on campus, project work, online learning, and independent study. The studies cannot be completed entirely online; on-campus attendance is required during the day (Monday to Friday).
The language of instruction is English.

Studies start with orientation days on 19-20 August 2026. Admitted students will receive more information and a detailed programme in August.

Please note: If you are an international student who needs a residence permit to study in Finland, we recommend applying to the Metropolia TechPathway programme instead. The Automotive Electrics Bachelor's path studies require you to attend classes on campus, and it can be difficult to get a residence permit for Open UAS studies, since they do not directly lead to a degree.
