After this course, the student:

• can recognize different kinds of data and variables
• can explain how to describe data
• can explain what is a hypothesis
• can choose the correct statistical method for testing a hypothesis
• are familiar with the theories and calculations that the statistical programs use in the analyses
• are able to interpret the output from the statistical programs and draw conclusions about the hypothesis based on the results

Generic skills: Student learns to analyze and interpret data and learn time management with regular scheduled exercises throughout the course.

Offering data: Student groups: UEF Master of Science in Public Health (TTM), Master of Public Health, Medical students, PhD-students, Open University. The minimum number of participants 10.
