After the course student is able to calculate risk and return of a financial instrument, knows the basic principles of portfolio theory, is able to evaluate the pricing of stocks and bonds and is able to use Excel applications is the aforementioned calculations. After the course student knows the basic financial market anomalies and understands the impact of behavioral finance on them. The assignment of the course gives students a practical understanding of real-life investments and portfolio management. The assignment supports students writing skills, analytical and critical thinking skills as well as interpersonal and problem solving skills.
