Principles of Control

Basic Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations

After completing the course the student can:
-Understand the principles of classical and modern control systems.
-Analyze and design control systems in both time and frequency domains.
-Design PI controllers for standard industrial processes.
-Develop model-based state feedback controllers for complex systems.
-Use MATLAB to implement and simulate control systems in a laboratory setting.
-Design and test controllers, perform stability analysis, and apply control theory to practical engineering problems.

Additionally, the course develops:

• communication: oral, written, presentation skills (video presentation, feedback), and
• digital skills (Matlab; video presentation).
