Accounting in Companies and as a Career Choice (open uni, autumn 2025)

Accounting can be divided into three teaching and research areas: financial accounting and profit and loss accounting, management accounting and corporate finance. Examples of the first area are financial accounting and financial statement planning, of the second area cost and profitability accounting and investment calculations, and of the third area financing decisions. The course includes lectures on each area. The lectures present each area from both practical and research perspectives. In addition, visiting experts from the business world present especially work tasks related to the areas.
