The aim of the course is to help students form a comprehensive understanding of modern human resource management in companies. The key HR processes will be covered during the course, including recruitment and onboarding, performance appraisal and rewards, talent management, and career management. Other topics include employee well-being. The course will also focus on the role of HR in company strategies and human resource planning. Additionally, students will explore the various roles and responsibilities of HR professionals.

By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to use key concepts of human resource management in their correct context. They should be able to describe the areas, processes, and typical practices of HRM and understand the key challenges related to them in businesses. Students should also know the goals of HRM in a company, its significance, and its connection to business strategy. The course will develop written and oral communication skills, teamwork abilities, and IT skills in the Moodle environment.
