Photonics for everyone

No special prerequisites are expected. The course is suitable for everyone interested in technology.

After completing the course, the student: -Understands what is meant by photonics -Understands which things between the interaction of light and materia must be considered when designing an optical system. -Can describe diffraction, interference and dispersion of light on a common level. -Understands the main working principle of cameras, 3D glasses, virtual reality devices, and augmented reality devices. -Knows what the meaning of cleanliness is to the functionality of an optical component. -Knows about the history of the photonics and have some insight to the future of the photonics.
