Basic studies: Introduction to Practical Theology

Learning outcomes: Upon completing the study unit, a successful student - Is familiar with the history of practical theology and understands its position among other theological fields of study - Understands the scientific nature of practical theology - Is familiar with the characteristics of practical theology as a field of study, and the nature and change of religiousness in Finland and other Western countries - Is able to explain their own views and apply what they have learned when observing religious phenomena and participating in public discussion - is able to apply their knowledge on practical theology in life and work
