Climate Change -eLearning

After passing this course student understands main basic knowledge about climate change as a scientific phenomenon, as well as about mitigating it and adapting to it. The student understands the basics of how climate functions and is able to define causes and consequences of climate change. The student can explain what measures can be taken to mitigate climate change and how it is possible to adapt to it. The student is able to look at climate change from various perspectives and make connections between the environment, the economy and different parts of society. The course develops the following generic skills: digitalisation, ethics, internationality, sustainability and responsibility, critical thinking, and identification and development of one's own expertise.

Time: It is possible to complete the course continuously online. In autumns, a broader 5 cp course 3352703 Climate Change is also offered. There is also available a broader 5 ECTS course 3352703 Climate Change, which will be held in the autumn semesters. If you have already completed this course, you can only get 3 cr from the 3352703 Climate Change - course (content partly the same).
