What you will learn

After completing the course, the student: - Understands different aspects of light - Understands in a general level different properties of light like refraction, reflection, diffraction, and interference. - Understands basics about vision and colors. - Understands some basics about modern displays. - Understands how light is generated. - Understands some basics related to the lighting like colors and light pollution - Has some idea about the complexity of the optics design and fabrication. - Understands some optics aspect to the photography.. - Understands the role of light in modern information society.. - Can communicate about light with correct terms.
