Sustainable Event Production in the Context of your Industry

The course focuses on the planning and implementation of responsible event production, considering the specific characteristics of the student’s own field. The aim is to develop the student’s ability to design and execute events where responsibility is integrated throughout the entire production process. Key content areas include: Basics of event planning and management: event life cycle, stages of the production process, roles and responsibilities from a responsibility perspective. Defining and scoping the event: setting goals, responsible use of resources, and realistic scheduling. Stakeholder analysis and defining responsibility requirements: identifying the needs and values of different actors and incorporating them into the planning process. Responsible communication planning: transparent, accessible, and ethical communication throughout the event stages. Principles of responsibility in event production: ecological, social, and economic sustainability as the foundation for planning and implementation. Needs analysis: mapping the expectations and responsibility values of the target group to support planning. Topicality in event production: sustainable development solutions such as circular economy, accessibility, and inclusivity. Design and implementation of a responsible visual concept: planning of spaces, costumes, and visual, etc. elements that support the event’s goals and responsible communication.
