Gender equality as a diverse phenomenon

Recommended optional programme components: Introduction to gender studies

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• define concepts and theories of gender equality and central research trends in it
• acknowledge research and research results of the area
• recognize and analyze the impacts and connections of equality as related to individual life span as well as with a broader social, societal and global phenomena in a gender-responsible manner
• reflect the knowledge learned from the course at a practical level ( e.g. promotion of non-violence and gender equality and diversity)
