This course offers an excellent opportunity to develop your language skills with a focus on more demanding grammatical structures. The course will also deepen your cultural knowledge by introducing you to Italian art, history and traditions. You will gain useful skills for working life and academic needs, with a flexible and interactive teaching approach. The course will give you further insight into the Italian language, deepening your knowledge of Italian language structures and practising practical situations, while introducing you to Italian culture through texts, listening, video tapes. The lessons include exercises in structure and listening, as well as conversation and pronunciation exercises in pairs/small groups. During the course, the basic structures of the language are deepened and practised. New structural topics include gerunds, passive voice in different tenses, passato remoto, use of the subjunctive and its perfect form. Topics include art, emotions, traditional events and celebrations in Italy, Italian cinema, the environment and sustainability.
