Understanding mechanisms of heritability and methods of genetic research is central for understanding evolution and biodiversity, health and disease, animal and plant breeding as well as our own traits.

This course introduces heritability and genetics research at the levels of individuals, populations and molecules.

Part 1. Mendelian genetics, including the basics of evolutionary, population and quantitative genetics.
