Knowledge management in health and social care (OPEN UNI)

After completing the course, the student will be able to: - ​Identify the most central concepts and models of knowledge management - Identify different information management approaches and processes ​ - Understand the importance of information and communication technology as a tool for managing with knowledge - Understand the role and importance of evidence-based decision-making and evidence-based practice management in social and health care - ​Develop the prerequisites for knowledge management in practical leadership in social and healthcare

Suitable as a minor (25 credits) for a Candidate or Master degree in Health Sciences or as a single course for elective studies.
