This study module covers individual development throughout the lifespan, from childhood to adolescence, adulthood, and aging, based on various theoretical and methodological perspectives. The aim is to understand how factors such as biology and neurology influence, family relationships, other social environments, and cultural factors impact different life stages. The course provides a comprehensive exploration of the effects of these factors on an individual's cognitive, psychosocial, and emotional development, as well as on emotion regulation, attachment relationships, personality, and identity formation. The module also addresses different ways to consider and influence people of various ages and their development by applying knowledge on developmental psychology.
