Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: • identify the basis of lifespan thinking and public health • identify the concepts of health, well-being and functional ability • explain the Finnish population and the most common national diseases • name the main causes of differences in human health • discuss the state of health and well-being and lifestyles of the Finnish population and the associated risk factors
