What you need to know before the course

What you will learn

Student plans the timber sales from the perspective of a forest owner. Student masters the basic information related to the harvesting equipment and conditions and is able to evaluate the implementation of timber harvesting. Student identifies the current wood use patterns in the forest industry as well as possible future trends and new opportunities for economic utilization of forests. Student defines sites entitled for subsidies according to the Act on Financing of Sustainable Forestry is available.
