What you need to know before the course

What you will learn

Parts 1-3: I recognise concepts related to anatomy and physiology. I remember structures, locations and functions of musculoskeletal system and nervous system. I remember structures, locations and functions of other organs. I understand the structure and function of organ systems and body regulatory systems and their importance to the functioning of the human body. Part 4: I understand the importance of nutrition as part of an individual's well-being. Part 5: I define changes in the body's function under load and at rest. I know the principles of energy metabolism and the most common physiological load measurement methods. I understand and can describe motor control as a regulator of movement.
