During the course, you will work with a partner on a written learning task. A detailed timetable for the assignment can be found in the course Moodle.

Description

Learner's time use and workload

Face to face learning 3 x 4 h and preparation 3 x 3 h = 21 h Matara visit 4 h Learning task (pair work) 33 h Independent work 23 h Total 81 h = 3 credits

Teaching methods

The course uses face to face learning, learning assignments, independent study alone and in groups as teaching and learning methods. During the course you will keep a learning diary reflecting on the topics studied.

Optional complete methods of the study option

You can apply for admission with previous equivalent higher education studies (content/objectives/extent). You can also apply for admission if you have an undergraduate degree in social and health care (e.g. practical nurse) and at least six months of work experience in social and health care. Please note that experience in fields such as early childhood education or youth work is not accepted. In this case, your competence will be demonstrated by a learning assignment as part of the course. Please discuss your competences with your tutor and, if necessary, submit an e-application as soon as possible at the beginning of the course.
