After successful completion of the course, the student is able to: 1. Outline the most important evolution stages of the tourism and hospitality industry. 2. Understand the changes in the needs and aspirations of industry stakeholders (e.g., customers, employees, companies) over time. 3. Understand the importance of global competencies in tourism and hospitality, including culture, traditions, manners, customs and etiquette. 4.
