Basic concepts and methods of statistics with the prerequisite knowledge obtained in MAT12001 Basics of statistics and R I.

  • comparison of two populations, generalisation of t-test, analysis of variance, linear regression, goodness-of-fit tests, tests of indepenced, non-parametric tests, basics of Bayesian inference.

Basics of R programming environment with the prerequisite knowledge obtained in MAT12001 Basics of statistics and R I.

  • lists and statistical testing, creating lists and naming components, code blocks, replicate, t-test of samples from one population, t-test of samples of two populations, test of independence, linear regression of single and multiple explanatory variables,  if else - structure, Bayesian inference.
  • installing and using extra packages.
