The course examines the key research fields in sociology and their typical research problems. In addition to a discussion of research fields taking place in contact instruction, empirical research articles will be sought from academic databases during the course. A final essay will written for the course in which students will deepen their understanding of one of the topics of the course from a perspective of their choice. The Examinarium examination focuses on topical literature introducing sociological research fields.
