Online Refresher Course of Basic German (CEFR A1)

Starting level: CEFR A1(Opens in a new tab).

German for Beginners 1 and 2 at the Language Centre or a few upper secondary school courses in German.

The course is suited to students who have previously studied the basics of German and wish to quickly review the basics.

If unsure of your skill level, please contact the course teacher before registering for the course.

After completing the course, students will

• Be able to use German in uncomplicated everyday situations
• Be proficient in the basic grammatical constructs of German
• Be familiar with the special features of the cultures of German-speaking countries.

The learning material can be downloaded from the course platform in Moodle.

• The course is offered in the form of independent online learning.
• 54 hours of independent study

Assessment practices and criteria are based on the learning outcomes. Assessment takes into account the end-of-course examination, active independent study and completion of the course assignments.

Students of all degree programmes, students with a JOO flexible study right, international students. The course can also be offered as open university education.
