Introduction to Social Psychology

Basic studies

 The course examines the history and character of social psychology as a science as well as its most typical research designs and methods. Students will acquaint themselves with the key concepts used in social psychology, such as social cognition, emotions, attitudes and identity, and will learn how to identify various approaches to research and related research questions. In addition, students will practise applying social psychology research in solving practical life issues while considering ethical questions related to research and production and the application of research-based information.
