Intermediate studies

Fundamental postulates of quantum mechanics using a two-state system as an example, expressed in Dirac notation: state vectors, operators, measurement and the probability interpretation. Tensor products of multiple two-state systems. Quantum mechanical time evolution.

Wave mechanics in one dimension: simple one-dimensional potential wells and similar systems. The solutions of the three dimensional Schrödinger equation describing the electron of a Hydrogen atom.
