Indigenous peoples, epistemic and linguistic diversity

There are no prerequisites for this study unit.

• Students achieve an awareness of the world’s Indigenous peoples and development of the concept of Indigenous peoples.

• Students have a solid knowledge of Indigenous knowledge-making processes, land-based education practices and contemporary challenges in schooling.

• Students gain an understanding of linguistic diversity among Indigenous peoples and its connections to Indigenous knowledge.
