Do you already master the basic stats methods and other quantitative research skills using R? This course will offer you more skills of exploring and analysing data with multivariate statistical methods. Bring your laptop to continue learning with R!

After completing this course, the student will master the skills of applying exploratory methods of multivariate data analysis, including methods like multidimensional scaling, various forms of cluster analysis (e.g. hierarchical and k-means clustering), correspondence analysis, principal components analysis, and exploratory factor analysis.

You should check and update your R and RStudio installations before the course.

Many of the mentioned methods are described in detail in Chapters 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17 of the text book:

You do not need the book, as the PDFs of those chapters will be available in Moodle.
