From fake news to AI-generated content, this module unpacks historical roots, psychological drivers, and technological tools behind deception in the digital world and beyond. Learn critical skills and strategies to detect, challenge, and mitigate the impact of disinformation in today’s AI age.

The course content consists of text, visual, and interactive elements that are available online. The module consists of three chapters:

1. Behind the Lies — What Disinformation Really Is

2. Why Disinformation Spreads Like Wildfire

3. How to Fight Disinformation — Tools, Tactics & Skills
