Sustainability, decolonization, and digitalization; these are just some buzzwords that have entered the world of museums. In this course, you will have the opportunity to develop and deepen your expertise around current and emerging debates in museology. The course is offered as either (1) a research seminar in which you conduct and present research around a chosen topic or (2) a themed lecture course in which you explore and deepen a particular topic through research. Examples of specialisms to be explored in this course are: sustainability and climate action; colonialism and decolonization; health and wellbeing; digitalization; game studies; globalization; senses and emotions; politics and activism; authority, accessibility, and participation; institutional voice and the other
