Methodologies and research ethics in Indigenous Studies

There are no prerequisites for this study unit.

Upon completion of this study,

• students are able to employ decolonial Indigenous research methodologies and carry out sustainable collaborative research actions.
  
• students are familiar with ethical issues related to research with Indigenous societies and communities.
  
• students recognise their own research positionalities and develop self-reflexivity.

• students are able to critically evaluate ethical standards of research conducted with Indigenous peoples.

This is a key course of Indigenous Studies 15 ECTS minor.
